     The following information is extracted from his obituary. Survivor(s): Thomas Everet Allcock and Ethel Gertrude Allcock.5 He died on 20 July 1941 in Lewisham Hospital, London, EnglandG, at age 22 after his motorcycle collided with a "motoromnibus" during a blackout while serving as a despatch rider.9,10,5,2 Nelson Steele Allcock was buried on 25 July 1941 in Brookwood Military Cemetery, Surrey, EnglandG, Grave Reference 31. G. 7. -- Brookwood is 30 miles from London.9,5

     He also went by the name of Steele.11,12
Canadian Military Service:
     Nelson Steele Allcock began military service on 15 July 1940 in Regina, Saskatchewan, CanadaG. He arrived in England on Jan 1, 1941 with the First Division Canadian Artillery. He listed his next-of-kin as Ethel Beatrice Allcock on his enlistment papers.13 Nelson Steele Allcock ended military service in 1941 Gunner L/255, 2 Lt. A.A. Regt., Royal Canadian Artillery. Ida Flynn recorded that he was a "Dispatch rider Royal Canadian Artillery. Killed in an accident, London, Eng.".

NELSON S. ALLCOCK KILLED IN ENGLAND
RICHARDSON.--- Mrs. Melville Weeks has received word of the death of her brother, Nelson Steele Allcock, of Kerrobert, Sask., who arrived in England Jan. 1, 1941, as a member of the First Division Canadian Artillery. He was acting as motorcycle despatch rider when he was killed.13
