     He had been employed as a maintenance man by Dunkirk Ice Cream and prior to that he operated a store in Hamlet. Frank was a 50 year member of both the Odd Fellows and the Grange in Hamlet.
     Frank's obituary states that he had one son, Wilbur of Smith Mills. His surviving wife's name was Clara and he had several step children indicating that he was married a second time.1

     The following newspaper article appeared in the book Reflections of a Century compiled by the Eganville Leader (2002) at Eganville at Ontario originally published 2 January 1959 :
Prominent Killaloe businessman, 67-year-old Louis Felhaber was killed on Monday morning in a two-car-head-on crash near Deacon Bridge, four miles east of Killaloe.
     Police said Mr. Felhaber had rounded a curve when his car apparently skidded on the icy road and smashed head-on into the car driven by Donald Thompson, of Toronto. The latter escaped with a cut on his head. Mr. Felhaber was rushed to Pembroke by Mr. Gerald Rhode, of Killaloe, but was dead on arrival.7
