Alexander was born on 11 August 1893 in Brudenell Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, according to Ontario Delayed Statement of Birth 5025695,2,4,1,6 or in 1892 according to the family gravemarker.1 Alexander married Louise Maves on 10 November 1920 in Pembroke, Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.3,8,9,1 A delayed birth registration for Alexander Hartwig was made on 29 February 1960 at Killaloe, certified by Maurice Hartwig. Maurice certified that Alexander's birth year was 1893 with a ? over the 3.
