     Henry was born on 18 January 1851 in EnglandG according to the 1901 census.4,8,7,6 Alternatively, he was born on 18 January 1860 in London, EnglandG, on his marriage registration1,5 or on 25 January 1850 in EnglandG according to his son Thomas' information on his death registration.9 Henry married Mary Jane Woodhouse on 8 March 1877 in Brudenell Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.10,2,4 The informant on his death registration was his son, Thomas Smallpiece. Although the death registration was intended to record the names of the parents of the deceased, in this case, Thomas gave his own parent's names.9 He died on 27 June 1936 in Brudenell Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, at age 85 according to Ontario Death Registration 030558.4,9 Henry Smallpiece was buried in St. Leonard's Anglican Cemetery, Rockingham, Brudenell & Lyndoch Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, Henry was buried June 29th 1936.4

     Alph Smalpece and Elizabeth Smalpece emigrated in 1880 from EnglandG to Canada according to the 1901 census.5 Alfred Smallpiece was the informant on the birth registration of (?) Smallpiece.14 Alfred Smallpiece was the informant on the death registration of his mother-in-law, Matilda Hilton who died on 27 February 1901.15 Alfred Smallpiece was the informant on the death registration of his sister-in-law, Emma Woodhouse who died on 20 September 1902.16 Alfred Smallpiece witnessed the Bio_shared of Mary Jane Woodhouse say 1995 in the obsolete familyhistory.com message boards posted by Tracey Sheady; My GGG grandfather was Robert WOODHOUSE, born ca 1819 in England, possibly Kent Co. Robert had a brother Ralph. I don't have spouses names for either of these men, but Robert had a daughter Mary Jane WOODHOUSE who married Henry SMALLPIECE. Ralph had a daughter Elizabeth WOODHOUSE who married Alfred SMALLPIECE. (Henry and Alfred Smallpiece were brothers.)

Mary Jane Woodhouse came to Canada between her birth of 1860, Derbyshire, England, and her marriage 1877, Renfrew Co, Ontario Canada.17

     Alf Smallpiece and Lizzie appeared on the 1891 Canadian Census of Brudenell Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 15 April 1891. Alf was enumerated as a farmer and Church of England. Their children Ralph, Thomas and Matilda Jane were listed as living with them. His siblings, Fredrick Smallpiece and Annie Jane Smallpiece and niece, Clara Smallpiece were included in the household as lodgers.11
     Alph Smalpece and Elizabeth appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Brudenell & Lyndoch Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 31 March 1901. Alph was enumerated as a farmer and Church of England. Their children Ralph, Thomas H and Matilda I were listed as living with them. In addition, his brother, Frederick Th (sic) was listed as a lodger. Note that Thomas, Matilda and Frederick were enumerated on a new page and their surname was listed as "Th" rather than Smalpece.5

     The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
Since Thomas Fred was included in the January 13th 1861 census, his birthdate should have been prior to this date. The census gave his age as 1 on his next birthday.4
