McCoy - Ellerman
     Two of Nortonville's most worthy and popular young people were the happy participants in a pretty marriage ceremony Wednesday night when Miss Ethel McCoy became Mr. Edgar (sic) Ellerman's bride. Mr. and Mrs. Ellerman will live on the old Ellerman farm east of town and have always with them the best wishes of many friends. 1.8

     The following article appeared in the Valley Falls, Kansas The Valley Falls Vindicator, 23 May 1902 :

     May 14th 1902. at the residence of the bride's parents, about five miles east of Valley Falls, at 8 P. M. Mr. Edward F. Ellerraan and Miss Ethel G. McCoy were united In marriage by the Rev. S. M. Hood, in the presence of a large number of invited guests.
     The happy couple were the recipients of many valuable and useful presents. The good wishes of many friends follow them. Mr. and Mrs. Ellerman will occupy the Ellerman home four miles east of Xortonville.5

     Edward and Ethel Ellerman appeared on the 1910 U.S. Federal Census of Norton Twp., Jefferson County, Kansas, enumerated 25 May 1910, described as a farmer on a general farm. Their children: Alice, Anna, Letha and Helen, were listed as living with them.4
     Edward F. and Ethel G. Ellerman appeared on the 1920 U.S. Federal Census of Norton Twp., Jefferson County, Kansas, enumerated circa 5 February 1920, described as a farmer on a farm (an employee, not the owner). Their children: Alice B., Anna R., Leatha A., Helen V., Mary M., Francis H. and Lulu G., were listed as living with them.6
     Ed Ellerman was a pallbearer in the funeral of his father-in-law, William Henry McCoy.7
     Ed and Ethel Ellerman appeared on the 1930 U.S. Federal Census of Norton Twp., Jefferson County, Kansas, enumerated 2 April 1930, described as a farmer on his own farm. Their children: Mary M., Francis and Lulu, were listed as living with them.3
     In the obituary of Ethel Ellerman who died 18 August 1954, her husband, Ed Ellerman, of Topeka, was listed as a survivor.9
     In the obituary of Anna R. Smith who died 21 July 1993, her parents, Edward F. Ellerman and Ethel G. McCoy were listed or implied as predeceased.9
