     She was born circa 1875 at Ladysmith, Québec, Canada.2,3 Mary married Arthur Rennick in 1900 at Milestone, Saskatchewan, Canada.2,1,3,4
     Mary Elizabeth Coulter died on 27 December 1959, while visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. Gienow, at Atikokan, Atikokan Twp., Rainy River District, Ontario, Canada.3
     The following selected information is extracted from her obituary.
     Arthur and Mary Elizabeth Rennick appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of RM of Lumsden No. 189, Saskatchewan, enumerated 1 June 1921. Arthur was described as a farmer onhis own farm, and Church of England. Their children Coulter, Wallace, Gordon, Kathleen, Elizabeth and Laura were listed as living with them.2
     Mrs. Rennick, mother of the bride-to-be, was referenced in an article about the bridal shower for Kathleen Rennick published on 22 October 1929 at the newspaper The Leader-Post.6

     In the obituary of Arthur Rennick who died 10 January 1951, his wife, Mary Rennick, was listed as a survivor.4

Funeral was held ln St. Andrew's church, Regina, by Bremner's Funeral chapel for Mrs. Mary Rennick, 84, who died while holidaying at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Gienow, Atikokan, Ont.

Mrs. Rennick, formerly Mary Elizabeth Coulter, was born at Ladysmith. Que., and came with her parents in 1893 to the Milestone district, and was married at Milestone in 1900 to the late Arthur Rennick. They were the first white couple to be married in Milestone, where they homesteaded. Among Mrs. Rennick's possessions was the bill of sale for the first binder to be sold in the west.

The couple moved to Rouleau in 1901, where Mr. Rennick was CPR section foreman. At that time the section house was the only house in town.

The family was transferred to Estevan and later returned to Rouleau, to farm south of town. In 1919 the Rennicks moved to Tregarva and farmed until 1945. Mr. and Mrs. Rennick then retired, and took up residence in Regina.

Mrs. Rennick was active in women's organizations and the Canadian Red Cross.

Predeceased by her husband in 1951, she is survived by three sons, Dr. Coulter Rennick, Regma; Wallace Stewart, Lumsden; and Edward Gordon, Rouleau: three daughters, Mrs. Ivan Seed. Tregarva; Mrs C. A. Davey, Tregarva: and Mrs. J Gienow, Atikokan, Ont; fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs Charles Hodgins, Edmonton; and one brother, Herb Coulter, Stranraer.

Interment was in the family plot at Regma cemetery.3
     In the obituary of Wallace Stewart Rennick who died 12 August 1982, his mother, Mary Rennick, was listed as predeceased.7
