Samuel Junop began military service on 30 October 1917 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, CanadaG, Medical Examination for enlistment.9 He was recorded as a Methodist on his Attestation Papers.10 He ended military service on 18 February 1919 his discharge stamp does not have a clear impression of the last digit of the year he was discharged, but elsewhere on the form is the date of June 27, 1918 so the discharge occurred after this date.9 He was a witness On Dominion Day (July 1) in 1931, August and Minnie Summach hosted a reunion of local families in which at least one of the parents had attended Rosenthal school in Renfrew County, Ontario. A photographer from Saskatoon took a panoramic photograph of about 14 families and other guests.
