     Hans Noack was born circa 1816 at GermanyG age 65 in 1881 census.6 He was the son of (?) Noack.5 Hans Noack was born circa 1817 age 74 in the 1891 census according to a rootsweb posting.7 Hans married Annie Schitke.1,2,8,4,9,6
     His name was also recorded as John Noack according to his son Christian's death registration and the 1881 census.10,6

John Milk and Hannah Noack appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Stafford Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 4 April 1881, enumerated as a Lutheran. No occupation given. Despite the surname Milk, I believe this is John and Anna Noack. Their household was enumerated right after John and Minne Noak.6

John Milk and Anna Milk appeared on the 1891 Canadian Census of Stafford Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 6 April 1891, enumerated as a gentleman.11,9

     Herman married Rosalina Noak, daughter of Matthew C Noack and Wilhemina Schilka, on 7 September 1910 at Killaloe, Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, according to her Ontario Marriage Registration 019382, she was a dressmaker.2,3,1,4 Herman Schwab was buried on 17 October 1918 at Arnprior, Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.5
Herman died on 17 October 1918 at Arnprior, McNab Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.6,7 The cause of his death was given as complications related to influenza. His Ontario Death Registration 034215 indicates he was a labourer and he died one day after his wife.7
     His name was also recorded as Herman Schwabb8 and as Herman Swaab GRL index of marriage registration.9 In the obituary of Rosalina Noak which printed 16 October 1918, Rosalina's husband, but he died the following day., Herman Schwab was listed as a survivor.1,10

     John O Schlievert was born circa 4 May 18845 or in 1883 according to his gravemarker.6,4 He was the son of William Frederick Schilvert and Amelia Sell.4 John married Emma Elvena Noack, daughter of Matthew C Noack and Wilhemina Schilka, on 9 June 1909 at Killaloe, Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, Ontario Marriage Registration 018330.7,8,6,4 John died on 5 May 1938 at Arnprior, Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.5 He was buried on 8 May 1938 at Albert Street Cemetery - West Block, Arnprior, McNab Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG.6,9,5

     John Schlievert was listed as a survivor in the obituary of William Frederick Schilvert who died 4 March 1933, William's son.10

     The following obituary appeared at the newspaper the Ottawa Evening Journal published in Ottawa, Ontario 6 May 1938 :
John Schlievert, highly esteemed resident of Arnprior and widely known in the Ottawa Valley, died yesterday at his home here following an illness of one year. Mr. Schlievert celebrated his 54th birthday only two days ago.

Born at Arnprior in 1884, he was a son of the late William Schlievert and Augusta Sell. He was married 29 years ago to Miss Emma Noack, at Killaloe, Ont. and took up residence here where for a number of years he was in the employ of McLachlin Bros. Lumber Company.

Surviving are one son, Melville Schlievert, of Arnprior; three daughters, Augusta Schlievert, of Montreal; Mabel and Dora, of Arnprior; five brothers, Herman and Charles Schlievert of Arnprior; William Schlievert, of Montreal; Frank, of Ottawa, and Otto, of Sultan, Ont; two sisters, Mrs. Adam Wagenblass and Mrs. Harry Reid, of Arnprior.

The funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon for his late residence, McGonical street, to the Evangelical Church, where service will be conducted by Captain Knox and Lieutenant Stewart, of the Salvation Army.

Interment will be in the Arnprior cemetery.5


In the obituary of Emma Noack which printed 13 December 1962, Emma's husband, John O Schlievert was listed as predeceased.3

     Ethel W Hartwig was born on 19 June 1911 at Killaloe, Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, CanadaG, according to Ontario Birth Registration 044007. Note that her grave stone gives his birth date one day earlier, June 18th, 1911.1,2,4 She was the daughter of Ernest Julius Hartwig and Wilhelmina Zummach.2,3 Ethel married Robert C Budarick.1 Ethel died on 16 September 1952 at Boulter, Ontario, CanadaG, at age 41.1,4 She was buried at Boulter Gospel Chapel Cemetery, Carlow Twp., Hastings County, Ontario, CanadaG.1

     Her name was recorded as Ethel Minnie Hartwick on her birth registration.3,2

Don Boland lists Peter as a child of Mark and Agatha, but indicates he is buried in the Tramore Cemetery. That Peter Porter is the son of Simeon and Ivah, according to their gravemarker.1

     Her name was also recorded as Lila Margina Hartwick.4,3
