Stephen A. Motta, 70, Mining Engineer, To Be Buried in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS. Dec. 7.--Masonic funeral rites for Stephen A. Motta, long active in the order and past grand master ot York Grand Lodge of Mexico, will be conducted here Tuesday. He died Saturday at the age of 70.
Mr. Motta was a mining engineer and spent 18 years in old Mexico. Born in England, Mr. Motta came to Winnipeg at the age of 18 and lived In Canada about 10 years.
Surviving are his widow, a brother, George, of Moose Jaw, and four sisters, Mrs. M. McManus, Los Angeles; Mrs. Frank Courtley, Hot Springs, Ark; Mrs. Richard Grant, Vancouver, and Mrs. William Blair, Winnipeg. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park cemetery here.1
