     Josh and Mary Shaw appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of Renfrew, Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 1 June 1921. Josh was described as a brick layer in the building industry and a Presbyterian. Their children Kenneth, Marvin, Howard, Evelyn, Iva and Isabelle were listed as living with them.⁵
