     The home of the bride's parents was the scene of the marriage on Wednesday afternoon of Miss Ina Beryl Briscoe, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Briscoe, Northcote, to Mr. William Lome Humphries, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Humphries, Castleford. Rev. H. W. Pointen was the officiating clergyman.
     The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a street-length dress of heaven blue wool crepe and carried a bouquet of pink roses and lily-of-the-valley.
     Miss Olive Briscoe, who attended her sister as bridesmaid, chose a beige wool dress and carried a bouquet of red roses and lily-of-the-valley.
     The groom was attended by his brother, Mr. Campbell Humphries, as best man.
     Mrs. M. Campbell played the wedding music.
     Following the wedding luncheon, the couple left on a motor trip, the. bride travelling in a black dress, beige topcoat and black accessories. They will take up residence at Castleford.6
