He attempted to cross the border but was rejected on 4 March 1951 to Rochester, Monroe County, New York, USA, crossing the border over the Lewiston Bridge between Queenston, ON and Lewiston, NY. He was a mechanic. He returned to Canada on March 11th, to collect his family. They all returned to the US on April 6th.3 He and Ruth Sara Crandell attempted to cross the border but was rejected on 6 April 1951 to Rochester, Monroe County, New York, USA, crossing the border at Niagara Falls, accompanied by their children, an unknown person.1
