     He died on 5 November 1979 at Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, at age 75. He was a lithographer in the printing industry.1 The cause of his death was given as acute respiratory failure.1 The informant on his death registration was his wife, Alice Bernice Porth.1 Gustave Adolph Porth was buried on 8 November 1979 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.1

Either Elisabeth Porth née Epler gave birth to two sons, in June 1902 and 1904 respectively, or the second registration, which was made in 1960 was for the same child, but with differing information. Since the Manitoba Vital Statistics database does not record a death of Gustav Porth between 1902 and 1904, i assume they are the same person.5
