Randalia Miss is Bride of Dean Merrill of Oelwein
-Evelyn Renwick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Renwick of Randalia, and Dean Merrill of Oelwein were united in marriage Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock at the Methodist church in Randalia. The single ring ceremony, was used, Rev. R. E. Doss of Randalia officiating.
Preceding the ceremony, Miss Phyllis L. Wittenbury of Sumner rendered as piano selections "To. a Wild Rose" (McDowell) and "Love Song" (Nevin). As the bridal party entered the church she played "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin and as the recessional she played Mendelssohn's Wedding March.
Theresa Rogers, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. The best man was Vernon Renwick, brother of the bride, and the ushers were Leland Benter and Dick Rogers.
The bride's gown was white silk crepe with veil and accessories to match. She carried a bouquet of white gladioli. Miss Rogers wore a pink organdy gown. The bride is a graduate of Randalia high school with the class of 1931.
The groom graudated (sic) from Oelwein high school. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill will make their home in Oelwein.8
