     Nellie Chase died on 24 September 1926 at Finley Hospital, Dubuque, Iowa, USA, at age 52.1
     
     Nellie Chase was buried on 27 September 1926 at Cassville Cemetery, Cassville, Grant County, Wisconsin, USA.1
     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper The Bloomington Record published in Bloomington, Wisconsin 29 September 1926:
MRS. NELLIE CHASE CURRY.
     After a long illness Mrs. Albert Curry, known by many in Cassville, died at Finley hospital, Dubuque, last Friday afternoon at 2:30 oclock. Funeral was held Monday morning from thdfamily home, 506 Almond street, vto ' Cassville, where services were cdnducted by Rev. r Myron E. Campbell' in the Baptist church at 2 oclock in the1 afternoon. Singing by Mrs. Campbell; ' Misses ' Beth Groom and Retha McDowell, Miss Opal McDowell accompanist. Burial at the Cassville cemetery. Mrs. CUrry was born in Patch Grove, Wis., January 25, 1874, and was married to Albert Curry of Lancaster January 1, 1895. The Currys. lived in Cassville a good. many years before moving to Dubuque, where Mrs. Curry was a faithful member of the First Baptist, church, Sylvia Camp, No. 2084, Royal Neighbors of America, and the "Womens Relief Corps, No. 37. Being a woman of lovable disposition; Mrs. Curry. was loved by a large. circle of friepds who extend their slpcere sympathy. to! the grief-stricken husband, Albert, three daughters, Mrs. B. Huston, Llla ahd.Ada Curryj three sisters, Mrs. Lou Smithr Stltzer, Wis; Mrs. Jbhn. Hall, Rochelle, 111., Mrs. Alfred HaberlT, Janesville; three brothers; Charles. Chase,v Elkport; George, Rochelle, and William, Milwaukee. All. except William who was ill arid unable to come were in attendance at the funeral. Many Cassvllle friends. were; Ujjbfe inrespect to the departed and to syxnpathize with those Who mourn.1
