DARLINGFORD, Man., Nov. 1 — Mrs. John Forrest, one of the Darllngford old-timers, passed away at her home near Darlingford last Friday after ten days' illness.
Thamar Brlsco was born in St Charles, Quebec, April 1, 1842, and moved with her parents to Renfrew, Ont, at the age of three years, where she married John Forrest.
Mr. Forrest, Sr., died 45 years ago. Mrs. Forrest and her family moved to the West in 1901, and settled on a farm near Darlingford and lived there until the time of her death. She is survived by three sons and two daughters; John, at Douglas. Ont.: Alex, at Victoria. B.C; Sam, at Darlingford,
nd Mis. Geo. Foster, of Somerset, Man., and Jessie, at home; also one brother in Ontario.
The late Mrs. Forrest was a member of the Presbyterian church and was active In churrh affairs until her health began to fail about two years ago.
The funeral was held on Saturday from the home. Rev. D. B. Kennedy, of Darlingford. and Rev. Smalley, of Miami, officiated.
Interment was made In Manitou cemetery. The pallbearers were: J. P. Moore. John Carswell. J. J. Archer, W. B. Moore. R. J. Nleghbor and Wes. Moore, all old-time friends of the family.1

Forrest and the late Mr. Forrest, of Bromley. Ont. Dr. H. Mick officiated.
The bride looked charming in a dainty gown of rose beige lace with hat and shoes to match and carried an arm bouquet of sunset roses and maidenhair fern. Sarah Forrest and James McLaren, Jr., were the only attendants.
Following the ceremony, the young couple left by motor for Bromley where a wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents.
After a short trip Mr. and Mrs Forrest will reside in Bromley.1
