Robert J. Moffat, 80, died Nov. 10 at his residence in Elgin, Man. Born in Victoria county, Ont., Mr. Moffat moved to the Elgin district in 1917 after having farmed for many years in the Souris and Plum Creek districts.
Surviving are, his widow; one daughter, Mrs. John Draper, Elgin; three sons. Prof. James Moffat, Indiana. U.S.A.P George and William, of Elgin: five brothers, John, Summerland, B.C.: William, Brandon, and Thomas, James and Peter, of Elgin..1
