NEWBURYPORT, July 19 -Miss Helen Worcester Marr, daughter of Mrs. Georgia A. Marr and the late Reuben C. Marr of this city, and Rev. Leslie James Tuck of Greeley, Colo., were married in the Washington Street Methodist Church here, last evening, by Rev. W. J. Lowstuter of the Boston University Theological School.
Miss Retta V. Marr, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Miss Vivian Marr, niece of the bride, was bridesmaid. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Chesley F. Marr. The best man was Rev. Albert E. Tuck, brother of the groom and pastor of St Andrew's Church, Roxbury. Miss Ruth L. Binley was at the organ. The double-ring service was used. A reception was held in parlors of the church.
The groom is at present taking a course in the Theological School of Boston University, and is pastor of the Washington Boulevard Church, West Roxbury. He is a veteran of the World War, having served in Co C, 2d Field Battalion, Signal Corps, First Division, A. E. F., and. was wounded in battle in France. His bride was for a number of years a schoolteacher here, and during the war held a position in the War Department in Washington.
Rev. and Mrs. Tuck will be at home after Sept 1 at 151 Cottage road, West Roxbury.1
