     He was born on 5 April 1859 at Lawrenceburg, Lawrenceburg Twp., Dearborn County, Indiana, USA.^{3,2,6,8,4,9,10,11} Alternatively, he may have been born circa 1861 at Ohio, USA, in the 1920 census, but obiously incorrect since he was included in the 1860 census.¹² Charles married Mary Elouise Dunklin in December 1891.^{8,4,13,12,7,14,11}
     Charles Hill Bostic died on 29 December 1932 at Malden, Cotton Hill Twp., Dunklin County, Missouri, USA, at age 73. Note that his obituary indicates he died the night of Friday, Dec 30th, rather than the previous evening.^7,15
      The informant on his death registration was his wife, Mary Elouise Bastic. His parents were identified as John D. Bastic and Marth Langdale.¹⁰ The cause of his death was given as Chronic Myocarditis, contributed to by influenza from Nov 21 to 26, 1932.⁷
