Euphrasia Home Scene of April Marriage Vows
Jeanetta Vamplew and Russell Rintoul Wed at Sister's Home A very pretty wedding took place on Saturday, April 17th., at 1 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Bell of Euphrasia Township, when Jeanetta, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Vamplew, was united in marriage to Russell Rintoul, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Rintoul, of Laurel. Rev. J. R. Dickinson officiated. The home was beautifully decorated with pink and white streamers ought with pink and white roses. The bride entered the room on the arm of her brother, Elmer Vamplew, to the strains of the Wedding March played by her sister, Mrs. R. J. Bell. The bride was dressed in heaven blue sheer trimmed with lace and carried an arm bouquet of Talisman roses and maiden-hair tern. Little Miss Dor-Marie (sic) Vamplew, niece of the bride was flower girl, dressed in white organdie and carrying a basket of sweet peas.
After the ceremony a buffet lunch served to 35 guests. The table was covered with a cut-work cloth, arranged with pink candles and centred with the bride's three-storey cake. Mrs. Wm. Vamplew received the guests wearing navy blue sheer and a corsage of roses, and Mrs. Alex Rintoul was dressed in black and white crepe and wore a corsage of roses.
Later in the day the happy couple left for a short honeymoon. For travelling the bride wore a beige dress with brown trim, beige hat| and accessories to match. Upon their return they will reside on the groom's farm at Laurel.6
