Winnipeg Bride Will Reside in Moose Jaw
The marriage of Doris Patricia, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Lee, 155 Hespeler ave., to Aircraftsman Arthur John Summach, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Summach, formerly of Elmwood was solemnized October 21, at 7:30 p.m., in the vestry of St. Cuthbert's Anglican church. The officiant was Rev. R. E. Park.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a frock of wineberry crepe with a pleated skirt. The V-shaped bodice had a collar and cuffs of white silk. Her small hat of wineberry felt was draped with a veil. She had tea roses as a corsage.
Miss Evelyn Summach, the bridegroom's sister, attended the bride. She was in a black crepe gown with a low neckline and short puffed sleeves. A black self-trimmed hat and a corsage of tea roses completed her ensemble.
Mr. William R. Lee, Seven Sisters Falls, brother of the bride, was best man.
A small reception for the immediate families was held at the home of the bride's parents. Aircraftsman and Mrs. Summach left for Moose Jaw, where they will live.
For going away, the bride wore a black frock, the wide belt adorned with a scroll design of green-stitched thread. The same design was repeated on the three-quarter length sleeves. The neckline was throat-high and the skirt flared. She wore a short black chubby jacket, clasped at the neckline. A veil draped her black felt hat.2
