GOODRICH PORTERFIELD
Miss Myrtle Porterfield and Halley (sic) F. Goodrich were united in marriage yesterday at 2 o'clock, at the parsonage of Trinity Lutheran church at Rockford. Rev. H. M. Bannen officiating. They were accompanied by Miss Adella Reese, Mr. and. Mrs. H. A. Merlein and Mr. and Mrs. George A. Williams.
Mrs. Merlein and Mrs. Williams are sisters of the groom. Following the ceremony a four course dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs, Merlein, 636 Garfield avenue, Rockford. A pretty color scheme in pink and white was effected in the decorations.
Miss Porterfield has an aunt in Detroit with whom she has made her home. The groom is a clerk at the Emerson-Brantingham company's new plant.

Chesaning, Apr. 16 - Funeral services were held from the Walker funeral home here on Saturday afternoon for Andrew A. Porterfield, 71, who passed away at his residence her on Tuesday afternoon of infirmities and complications. The Rev. H. Anderson, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiated and interment was made in the Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Porterfield was born on January 8, 1864, in London, Ont. He was married on August 21, 1886, ao (sic) Miss Emma Cantley, who died in 1898. He was married to Miss Lucena Perry on September 16, 1906.
Five children survive. They are: Mrs. C. K. Ramson, of Los Angeles, Calif; Bert Porterfield, of Roscoe, Ill; Mrs. Hawley Goodrich, Eagle Rock, Calif; Mrs. Samuel Baker, Gold Creek, Nev., and Vernon Porterfield, of Northhville, Mich;one brother, James Porterfoeld, address unknown, and 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
