A pretty wedding was solemnized at Central United church, Saturday evening, September 14, at 8 o'clock, when Ethel Mae, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. McKechnie, Jasper, Alberta, became the bride of J. Reginald Houghton, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. S. Houghton of Calgary, the Rev. Dr. Thomas Powell officiating.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her uncle, A. Pirie, was becomingly gowned in beige georgette with hat to match and carried a bouquet of Madame Butterfly roses.
She was attended by her sister, Miss Jean McKechnie, and Miss Evelyn Kippen, the former choosing a rose colored gown and the latter powder blue, with hats to match. and carrying bouquets of shell pink carnations.
Glen Reed attended the bridegroom, while Dr. H. Baden Powell and William Huddleston acted AS ushers. During the signing of the register G. H. Macbeth sang "Until" with Harry Rimmer at the organ.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Kippen. The table, centred by the bride's cake and attractively decorated with pink cathedral tapers and mauve and pink sweet peas, was presided over by Mrs. D. A. McMillan, of Huxley, Alberta, and Mrs. M. Reed.
Those assisting in serving were Miss Alma Walker, Miss Chrissie Austen, Miss Mabel Creighton, Miss Ora Walker, Miss Evelyn Kippen, Miss Hazel Creighton, Miss Jean McKechnie and Miss Catherine Kippen.
During the evening Miss Chrissie Austen and Mrs. Frank Booth rendered several delightful musical selections. Later the bride and bridegroom left for the coast where they will spend their honeymoon, and upon their return will reside in Calgary.

Mrs. Margaret Ann Tutin, 92, widow of Robert Hill Tutin, died Thursday at the home of her daughter Mrs. William G. Parrott, 335 Sixth-av Dayton. Born In Cincinnati, Mrs. Tutin had been a resident of Campbell -co for the past 45 years.
Besides Mrs. Parrott, she leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Harry Billerman and Mrs. R. P. English; one son, Thomas C. Tutin; also, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was an active member of the Calvary M. E. Church, Bellevue and was treasurer of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society of the church for the past 33 years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p. m. at the residence, followed by services at 2:30 p. m. at the Calvary M. E. Church. Burial will be In Evergreen Cemetery, A. C. Dobbllng & Son, Bellevue are In charge.10

1) she was born in Dec 1865 which is approximately correct for Florence
2) Clara had died unmarried in 1896.1
