     Thelma Irene Christie died on 26 November 2014 at Village Villa Nursing Home, Nortonville, Jefferson County, Kansas, USA, at age 93.2
     The following selected information is extracted from her obituary.
Predeceased by her husband, Mac Leroy Hoffman. Predeceased by her parents: James Allen Christie and Nellie Dunbar Smith. Predeceased: Benjamin Alan Hoffman.2

     The following article appeared in the Atchison, Kansas The Atchison Daily Globe, 15 June 1946 :

     MRS. MAC LEROY HOFFMAN is the former Miss Thelma Irene Christie only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Christie of Effingham. Her marriage took place June 1. in the Monrovia Mlheodist church. Mr. Hoffman is a son of Mrs. William Hoffman and the late Mr. Hoffman of Nortonville.5
Mrs. Mac Hoffman, the bride's daughter-in-law,was listed as a guest at the marriage of Clyde Sowles and Hazel Hoffman on 2 October 1953 at First Methodist Church, Topeka, Kansas, USA.6
     In the obituary of Mac L. Hoffmann who died 7 October 2009, his wife, Thelma Hoffman, was listed as a survivor.7
     In the obituary of Benjamin Alan Hoffman who died 5 November 2011, his grandmother, Thelma Hoffman, of Nortonville, Kansas, was listed as a survivor.8

     The following information is from my personal research, October 2016:
According to his son Benjamin's Find A Grave memorial page, he was a "Loyalist Sergeant."

The United Empire Loyalists' Association of Canada includes him as a "Proven" Loyalist who settled in the "Home District"

He was a Quarter-Master in the King's American Regiment, Cavalry according to the Roll of Officers of the British American or Loyalist Corps published in 1899.1,2,3
