MARY E. MARTIN FRANK J. CROSKILL PARSONAGE VOWS
MEAFORD, March 31 — The marriage of Mary Ethel, youngest. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Martin of Bognor, Ontario, to Franklin J., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Crosskill of St. Vincent, was quietly solemnized at the United church parsonage, Meaford, on Saturday. March 27th, at 2 p.m., Rev. L. H. Currie officiating.
The bride and groom were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Bert Shields of Bognor.
The bride was charming in a street length gown of heavenly blue triple crepe, fashioned on peplum lines, and braid trimmed the bodice. She wore a shoulder cascade of pink American Beauty roses, pink sweet peas and maidenhair fern.
Following the ceremony the happy couple left on a honeymoon trip to points in South Western Ontario and the U.S.A. For travelling the bride chose a tailored black pin-striped wool suit with white sheer blouse, and a black fox scarf, and black shoes and accessories. On their return they will reside on the groom's farm in St. Vincent.
The groom gifts to the attendants were a tie set and a costume pin.2
