     He was born circa 1 November 1885 at Mallovana, volinsky Gubernja, Russia.1,2 William married Annie Marie Schnell on 6 June 1911 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.3      William Senft was buried at Lipton Memorial Gardens, Lipton, RM of Lipton No. 217, Saskatchewan, Canada.4
     He died in 1988.4
     The following biographical information is from at Fort Qu'Appelle Times recorded in Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, June 1892 :
George and Ludwig Senft and their families as well as Mrs. William Hepting and her infant son fled Russia since the men were of military age and could not obtain passports. They travelled by horse drawn cart to an area near the Austrian border, and then proceeded on foot.1
