White Pompons Deck Church for Miller-Fleming Bridal
St. Stephen's-Broadway United church was the scene of a wedding at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, when Eleanor Frances, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Fleming. became the bride of Constable George Henry Miller, R.C.M.P., eldest son of Mrs. J Miller and the late Mr Miller, Lipton. Sask. Rev. Harold A Frame officiated.

White pompons and ferns decorated the church. Miss M. Pottruff was at the organ and accompanied the service.

Mr. Fleming gave his daughter in marriage. Her low-waisted gown of while slipper satin had a yoke of silk net adorned at the shoulders with lovers' knots of the satin. Her lace-trimmed veil was held by a halo headdress. She carried a tulle muff overlaid with Joanna Hill and Pinoccio roses. She wore a pearl sunburst pendant which her father gave to her mother on her wedding day,

Mrs. Lois Smith-Windsor was matron of honor. Her gown of turquoise chiffon was fashioned with a drop shoulder line and sweetheart neck rimmed with sunset pink ruching. The ruching also edged the low waistline and the short sleeves. Her chapel veil was draped from a floral headdress. She carried a matching pink muff draped with pink Briarcliffe roses.

Constable Dudley Orr, R.C.M.P. was best man, Cpl. Jules Couillard and Cpl. H. E. Bloxam, both of the R.C.M.P., were ushers. A reception was held at the Fort Carry hotel. After a short wedding trip. Constable and Mrs. Miller will reside at Morecambe Lodge. For going away, the bride donned a two-piece frock of yellow crepe. hand embroidery marking the tunic pockets. Her halo hat was of the same material with veil drape. She wore a cost of ice blue wool and corsage of Talisman roses.6
