She was born in 1848 at Caledon Twp., Peel County, Ontario, Canada.3 Alternatively, she may have been born circa 1850 according to her marriage registration.2 Catherine married John Boyd Conboy on 9 April 1873 at Caledon Twp., Peel County, Ontario, Canada, (not 1875 in Erin as recorded in the Asquith history.)1,2 Catherine married A. Roberts on 29 November 1931 at Dade City, Pasco County, Florida, USA.3
In 1902,Catherine moved from from their dairy farm at Belfountain, Ontario. The next year they moved to the Hurdman Lodge (later Environ) area near Asquith to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.1
The following article appeared in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Star-Phoenix, 9 January 1931 :
83 AND 90 MARRY AT DADE CITY, FLA.
Former Asquith Resident Weds After Lengthy Correspondence With Groom
ASQUITH.--Last year Mrs. Catherine C. Conboy, of Asquith, then 82 years of age, left for Dade City, Florida, where she was to become the bride of A. Roberts, aged 89, of that city. After her arrival there, owing to unforseen circumstances, the wedding was indefinitely postponed, and the prospective bride left for St. Helena, Oregon, where she resided for some tmie with her son, Howard. Word has now been received in Asquith of the return to Dade City, of Mrs. Conboy, and that the marriage of the aged couple, postponed for almost a year, making them now 83 and 90 years of age, respectively, took place at the court house in Dade City on Nov. 29. The ceremony was performed by Judge J. W. Sanders and witnessed by Mr. and Mrs. Burton B. Roberts.
The bride was born in Caledon County, Ont., in 1848, and 10 years ago was for a short time a resident of Dade City where the friendship between herself and Mr. Roberts originated. Of recent years she had been a resident of Asquith, corresponding occasionally with Mr. Roberts. Early last year she received a proposal of marriage from him by letter and left shortly afterwards for Dade City, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Lena Conboy, of Asquith. Mr. Roberts has been a resident of Dade City for over 20 years, and is the architect who planned and contracted for the majority of the buildings in that town. Of late years, though he has been retired from active business, he is consulted frequently by contractors and builders, as he was formerly a widely-known and unusually capable architect, and although he last year celebrated his 89th liirthday a casual acquaintance would guess at his age at around 60 years due to his remarkable mental and physical activity. Judge Sanders, after performing the marriage ceremony, said: "I nave probably never married another couple as old as Mr. and Mrs. Roberts, but I have married others who appeared much older."3

He was born circa 1841.1 A. married Catherine Cecilia Baker on 29 November 1931 at Dade City, Pasco County, Florida, USA.1
Judge Sanders, after performing the marriage ceremony, said: "I nave probably never married another couple as old as Mr. and Mrs. Roberts, but I have married others who appeared much older."1
