Roy McTavish is remembered on a gravemarker at Eagle Creek Cemetery, RM of Eagle Creek No. 376, Saskatchewan, Canada.3

     William Faichney and Sarah appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Renfrew, Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 31 March 1901. William was enumerated as an Auctioneer and a Presby(terian).3

     The following obituary appeared Ottawa Journal published in Ottawa, Ontario 5 April 1949:
Miss J. I. Faichney Buried at Renfrew
     Miss Jessie Isabel Faichney, a lifelong resident of Renfrew died suddenly on Saturday in an Ottawa hospital at the age of 83.
     Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Faichney, she was sn active member of the United Church in Renfrew. A sister, Mrs. C G. Hurdman, predeceased her by some years. There are no other surviving relatives.
     The funeral service was conducted in the McPhall funeral parlors in Renfrew on Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment was in the Renfrew cemetery.4



     March 2020 Research notes:
Their adopted daughter Jessie Faichney aka Jessie Hurdman survived her mother yet she is not named in the obituary, unless she is the Jessie living at Asquith. Margaret also had a sister Jessie that lived with them in 1911. So the obitaury could be referring to either of them.6

     He died before August 1916 according to a form in his son William's military service file, when William reported that niether of his parents were living.4

     She died on 15 February 1898 at District of Assiniboia (modern Saskatchewan), Canada.3
     The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
Since her husband was a widower in the 1901 census, I am assuming the Elizabeth Shaw that died in 1898 is his wife. There are only two people with this name in the Sask. Archives index, and the other died in 1913.4,3
