     John Mouton Louttit Jr. died on 6 February 1934, at his home, at Monongahela, Washington County, Pennsylvania, USA, at age 75. He had been a laborer.7,1,2
     Survived by two sons and two daughters. There was no mention of his late wife's two sons, Norman and Allen Sykes.7

John Mouten Louttit
     John Mouten Louttit, aged 75 years, a resident of this city for the past fifteen years, died yesterday morning, following a week's illness, at his home in Bluff street. He was born in Dravoshurg and was a member of the First Baptist church of this city.
     He is survived by four children, Mrs. Florence Umble, of Bentleyville; Mrs. Mary Mitchell, of Pontiac, Michigan; John and Robert Louttit, of this city, and three sisters. Mrs. Belle Carlson of Monongahela; Mrs. Jane Carlson, of Canonsburg, and Mrs. Sado Stark, of Fayette City.
     Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon ' at 2:30 o'clock from the Bebout & Yohe Company Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. A. Clair King. Interment in the Monongahela cemetery.7

     Pvt. Harlan A. Crafton, 26, died in Germany on March ll. This word was contained in a telegram received by his widow, Mrs. Katherine Crafton of Fairland, Sunday. He had been overseas with an infantry unit since February. Survivors include the widow and two children; his mother, Mrs. Sherman Crafton; four brothers and five sisters. Paul Crafton of Rush county was a brother of the deceased.2

     Died In Germany March 11, War Department Has Notified Relatives
     Pvt. Harlan A. Crafton, 26, of Fairland, brother of Mrs. Margaret Miller of Franklin and Mrs. Delphia Thompson of near Trafalgar, died in Germany on March 11, according to a war department message received today.
     Mrs. Crafton. who is the former Miss Katherine Leggett, had received a letter from her husband dated March 11 but he made no comment of an illness or having teen wounded. No details were contained in the official telegram.
     Pvt. Crafton entered armed service on September 6. 1944, through the Shelby county selective service board and after training at Fort McClelland, Ala., was sent overseas to ierve with an infantry unit in February.
     He was born in Noble township, Shelby county on July 3. 1918, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Crafton. His mother died five years ago. He attended schools at St. Paul and Fairland.
     Surviving are the father, the widow two children, four brothers and five sisters.7
The late Harlan Craftonwas recorded as the groom's father at the marriage of James Rufus Crafton and Linda Lee Harrell on 27 March 1960.9
     In the obituary of Katherine E. Crafton, who died 17 November 2000, her husband, Harlan Crafton, was listed as predeceased.5
