He returned to France on Nov. 24, 1917 where he was shot in the leg on Oct 10, 1918 and again returned to England a week later. This did not result in permanent disability as noted on his discharge papers.

Served in France with the Canadian Army during WWI with the 25th and 112th Battalion. Was a Private with Regimental Number 734525. Stationed in Bramshott, France for most of 1916 and 1917. Served at Vimy Ridge

Got gassed during WWI, this resulted in his bad lung condition for the rest of his life.

Lillian (Lee) lived in Boston and Lynn, MA after coming to this country in 1923 to help Aunt Edna when Jean was born. In 1948 Lee moved to Buffalo. She died of angina while living in North Tonawanda, NY She donated her eyes to the Eye Bank and her body to the University of Boston Medical School.3
