     She was born on 3 October 1926 at Dodsland Hospital, Dodsland, RM of Winslow No. 319, Saskatchewan, Canada.1,6,7 Laura married Frederick Stanley Summach on 16 June 1951 at St. Paul's United Church, Kelfield, RM of Grandview No. 349, Saskatchewan, Canada, In 2004, when I asked Uncle Fred how he met Aunt Laureen, he told the story of going to a Saskatoon skating rink with his cousin, Ted Summach to meet girls. Laureen was skating with her cousin, Florence Norris. When Laureen fell down, Fred "picked her up." Laureen added that there were two weddings that summer, because Ted married Florence.8,1,9,10,4,11
