(See note 3) .Through her son Pierre and his Daughter Marie-Anne Maheu who married Pierre Riopel, their son Ambroise Riopel settled in Detroit, Michigan, and married there on 24 Nov 1766 to Teresa Campau. Ambroise farmed a tract of land bordering on the Detroit River. Teresa lived on St Jacques St in Detroit prior to her marriage. Their daughter Elizabeth Riopel married Rene Metay of Detroit on 19 Jan 1795 . Rene kept a tailor shop in Detroit at the time.
