Eva Schick1,2,3,4

She was born on 23 June 1860 at Germany according to the 1901 census.3 Alternatively, she may have been born on 24 June 1860 a part of the Hapsburg or Austrian emplire (now in modern Poland), at Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria according to biographical information on her Find A Grave memorial page5,2; or, circa 1857 at Austria since she waw recorded as being 48 in the 1906 census.4 Eva married Johann Walker on 11 November 1880 at Reichau Luterhan Church, Reichau, Austria.1,6,3,4
Eva Schick died on 2 June 1931 at RM of Westbourne, Manitoba, Canada, at age 70.5
Johann and Eva Schick immigrated in 1899 to Canada from Germany (or Austria), accompanied by Jake, Lena, Katie, Lily, John and Adam.7,3
John and Eva Valker appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of RM of Westbourne, Manitoba, enumerated 31 March 1901. Their children: Jake, Philip, Lena, Kate, Lily, John and Adam, were listed as living with them.3
John and Eva Walker appeared on the 1906 Census of Canadian Prairie Provinces, Manitoba, Plumas Post Office, enumerated 5 July 1906. Their children Phillip, Lena, Catherine, Mena, John, Adam, Charlie and Caroline were listed as living with them.4
The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
I have included the Walker family in this database because several of the children of John and Eva Walker married into the Kreutzer family.
The family erected a memorial monument in the Colby Tupper cemetery, listing 14 children.
In my research I have found references to two other children, Lena Walker and Lily Valker, both included in the 1901 census, that are not included in this list. They may represent nick names for two of the daughters listed on the monument, but at this time, I am not confident of the attributions.8
