The 83rd birthday of B. T. Jump was celebrated Wednesday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lydia Shaw. 563 West Decatur street. A birthday cake baked by Mrs. Maurice Jump of Maroa, with 83 candles on it was served with the dinner. Roses were sent to Mr. Jump by Miss Edna Rybolt, a granddaughter, attending, Columbia university.
