In the registration of the double marriage of Nelson Allcock and Charles Allcock; there was a mixup of information for the brides. As written, Nelson married Amy Maria Moore, the daughter of Jas and Amy (or possibly Anny) Gardiner (sic); while Charles married Amy Maria Gardiner, the daughter of Wm and Sarah Moore
(sic.)However, they were also documented as witnesses to each other's marriage, and the surnames of the ladies are accurate.1
She was listed as a witness to the marriage of Charles Allcock and Amy Maria Moore on 1 February 1872 at Collingwood, Nottawasaga Twp., Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada.11
