The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
In the registration of the double marriage of Nelson Allcock and Charles Allcock; there was a mixup of information for the brides. As written, Nelson married Amy Maria Moore, the daughter of Jas and Amy (or possibly Anny) Gardiner (sic); while Charles married Amy Maria Gardiner, the daughter of Wm and Sarah Moore
(sic.)However, they were also documented as witnesses to each other's marriage, and the surnames of the ladies are accurate.3
He was listed as a witness to the marriage of Charles Allcock and Amy Maria Moore on 1 February 1872 at Collingwood, Nottawasaga Twp., Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada.10

MOOSE JAW, April, 19.-- C. N. Allcock, a well known and highly respected farmer of the Eastview district, 15 miles east of here, was found dead in his home on Wednesday afternoon by his son. Mr. Allcock had a bullet wound from a .22 calibre rifle through his temple. He was dressed to go out and the opinion is held that he was going to shoot gophers and when taking the rifle down the trigger caught on something and fired the gun. The deceased is a brother of Thomas E. Allcock, well known in Saskatchewan Grain Grower circles. A widow and five children survive.4
