     Sarah was born on 20 May 1848 in Warwickshire, England.2,3 Sarah married John Briscoe on 16 October 1869 in Admaston Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to their Ontario Marriage Registration.1,3 She died on 14 September 1933 in Miller Twp., Frontenac County, Ontario, Canada, at age 85 according to Ontario Death Registration 015556.2 The informant on her death registration was George Briscoe. Her parents were identified as Thomas Pickering and Sarah Hackett.2 Sarah Pickering was buried on 16 September 1933 in Matawatchan, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.2

     James was born circa 1918 in Matawatchan, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.2 He died on 19 April 1955 a local hospital in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.2 The cause of his death was given as a severe brain hemorrhage.2
     The following information is extracted from his obituary. Survivor(s): Bryan Briscoe, Victoria MacCrimmon, John Briscoe and Iola Briscoe.2 James Sandford Briscoe was buried in Dewar Cemetery (aka Dewars), Beckwith Twp., Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.3,1
     He also went by the name of Ford Briscoe.2
