LATE GERTRUDE STACK
Miss Gertrude Stack, 21-year-old daughter of Mr. James Stack, formerly of Douglas, Ont., now a prosperous farmer of Asquith, lost her life in an automobile accident at Asquith, Sask., recently.
Miss Stack was a school teacher, with every promise of a most successful career. Being of a bright and genial disposition she will be greatly missed by all her friends and associates. Besides her parents, six sisters and four brothers survive, Lulu, teaching at Semans, Sask; Irene, teaching at Barry's Bay, Ont; Nellie, teaching at Dalmeny, Sask; Clare, attending Saskatoon Normal School; Catherine, Margaret, John, James, Thomas and Raymond, at home. The funeral was very largely attended. The school children of Belmal (sic) School, where deceased taught, were all present at the service and occupied the front seats in the church. Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Poulinard. The pallbearers were John Stack, James N. Stack, Joseph Gannon, Thomas Dooling, Robert McKenzie and Duncan McTavish. The floral and spiritual offerings were numerous.4
