     She was born circa 1889 at Ontario, Canada.³ Wilhelmine married Herman Teschner on 12 May 1905 at Church of Wilberforce, Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Marriage Registration 017668. Note that he did not know his mothers name.^4,2,3
     She was also known as Minnie Augusta Stalkie (sic) according to her son Garnet's death registration.⁵ Her name was also recorded as Minna Stalke according to her marriage registration² ; and, Minnie Stalker according to her son William's birth registrattion.⁴
     Herman and Minnie Teshner appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of Stafford Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 1 June 1921. Herman was described as a farmer on his own farm. Their children William and Ethel were listed as living with them. The household also included his nephew, Charles Leaman, and niece, Edith Leaman.³
     Wilhelmine Stahlke was recorded as the mother of the bridegroom at the marriage of William Teschner and Clara Znelke on 21 February 1928.¹
