Wilhelmine Stahlke1

She was born circa 1889 at Ontario, Canada.3 Wilhelmine married Herman Teschner on 12 May 1905 at Church of Wilberforce, Wilberforce Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, according to Ontario Marriage Registration 017668. Note that he did not know his mothers name.4,2,3

Census Data

Herman Teshner and Wilhelmine appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of Stafford Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 1 June 1921. Herman was enumerated as a farmer on his own farm. Their children William and Ethel were listed as living with them. The household also included his nephew, Charles Leaman, and niece, Edith Leaman.3
She was also known as Minnie Augusta Stalkie (sic) according to her son Garnet's death registration.5 Her name was also recorded as Minna Stalke according to her marriage registration2 ; and, Minnie Stalker according to her son William's birth registrattion.4
Wilhelmine Stahlke was recorded as the mother of the bridegroom at the marriage of William Teschner and Clara Znelke on 21 February 1928.1
See the footnotes below for a link to an article about their 50th anniversary that appeared at Ottawa Journal published in Ottawa, Ontario, 19 May 1955 .6

In the obituary of Ida Ethel Hampel who died 19 January 2009, her mother, Wilhelmine Stahlke was listed as predeceased.7
The following analysis is from my personal research and reflects my attempts to consolidate information from different sources.
Primary records give several name variants for her with an apparent outlier, Augusta on her daughter Ida's marriage registration. I wondered if Herman had two wives, but her son Garnet's death registrationcleared this up, giving his mother's name as Minnie Augusta Stalkie.8
