     William Moffatt died on 24 November 1948 at County Home for the Aged, Cobourg, Hamilton Twp., Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada, at age 62 according to Ontario Death Registration 037093. He was an unmarried farm labourer, and had last worked in 1944.2 The informant on his death registration was his brother, John M. Moffatt.2
     William Moffatt was buried on 27 November 1948 at Orono Cemetery, Orono, Clarke Twp., Durham County, Ontario, Canada.2

     Etta Moffatt died on 28 August 1933, at the home of her brother, Herb Toms, at Newcastle, Clarke Twp., Durham County, Ontario, Canada, at age 47 according to Ontario Death Registration 012973.1 The informant on her death registration was her husband, Andrew Moffatt.3
     
     Etta Toms was buried on 30 August 1933 at Bond Head Cemetery, Newcastle, Clarke Twp., Durham County, Ontario, Canada.3

It was with much sadness that Newcastle friends learned last week of the death of Etta Toms, second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Toms, Newcastle; and beloved wife of Mr. Andrew Moffatt. She has lived nearly all.her married life in Oshawa. but about six months ago, when deceased was suffering from an incurable malady, the family came back to her old home in Newcastle, owned and occupied by her brother, Mr. Arthur Toms, where she died on Monday, Aug. 28. The funeral was held from the home on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 30th., and as Newcastle clergymen were away on vacation, Rev. A. S. Kerr of Bowmanville conducted the service. Besides her husband, deceased, who (sic) was also a sister of Mr. Herb. Toms of this village, is survived by two sons. Norman and Alex.1
