     Violet Kuehl appeared in the 1921 Canadian Census of Killaloe Station, Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario in the household of her parents, August and Minnie Kuehl.4 Violet Muriel Zummach, sister of the bride, was listed as a witness to the marriage of Walter Louis Wilke and Minnie Louisa Zummach on 16 September 1924.1
     Violet Zummach appeared in the 1931 Canadian Census of Killaloe Station, Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario in the household of her parents, August and Minnie Kuehl, and she was listed as a domestic at home. Her marital status contains both an S and a superscript M, so was she married or not?5 Mrs. Alex Kuehl, of Killaloe Station, was listed as a witness to the marriage of August E. Buckwald and Beatrice Tillie Kuehl on 24 December 1935.11
     In the obituary of Darlene Norma McElwain who died 21 November 2009, her mother, Violet Kuehl, was listed as predeceased.12
