Charles Haley Funeral
     Funeral services for Charles Haley, 81,' Chicago, formerly of Stoughton, were held in Chicago Thursday. Burial was to be at Oregon today.
     Mr. Haley died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Kohrs, Chicago. A Stoughton resident for 35 years, he formerly was in the tobacco business here. He once made his home with a sister, Mrs. Alice Newkirk, Stoughton.
     Other survivors are two sons, Earl and Durand, Chicago; another sister, Mrs. Mayme Steele, Evansville; and two brothers, Emery, Janesville, and Cheena, Sheldon, Wis.4

     Charles Roth died on 31 October 1959, at his home, at Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, USA, at age 91.4 Alternatively, he died on 31 October 1959 at Richmond, Wayne County, Indiana, USA, at age 91 according to his Find A Grave memorial page. I have submitted a suggested chnage, (Oct 2022.)3
     Charles Roth was buried at Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, USA.3
     Charles and Millie Roth appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Huntington Twp., Brown County, Ohio, enumerated 12 June 1900, described as a farmer. Their daughter, Anna O., was listed as living with them.2
     See the footnotes below for a link to his obituary that appeared in the newspaper the Hattiesburg American published in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, 3 November 1959.4 In the death registration of Orena R. Sykes, who died on 5 February 1970, Charles Roth Sr. was identified as her father; of Richmond.5
