In the name of God amen the twenty first day of September 1746 I Sarah Thraves, relict and widow of Francis Thraves yeoman of Ludborough in the county of Lincoln being sick and weak in body, but of perfect mind and memory, Thanks to God for it, Do make and ordain this my last will and testament in form following
First, I give and recommend my soul in to the hands of God that gave it, my body to the earth to be buried at the discretion of my executor. And as touching the worldly estate I am blest with, I give, demise and dispose of the same in manner and form following. First I give and bequeath to Anne Thraves my eldest daughter, the sum of ten pounds, likewise to each child, viz Benjamen, John, Thomas, Elizabeth, the sum of twenty shillings to be pay'd as they advance to the twenty first year of their age, and in case death should seize any of 'em 'ere the s'd sum is to be divided amongst the remainder.
Item I give to my second daughter Elizabeth Patchet the sum of three pounds three shillings payable in twelve months after my decease as I do also order the ten pounds I have bequeathed to my above s'd daughter Anne to be paid five immediately after my decease and five at the end of twelve months.
As to my bed I give and bequeath it to Elizabeth Thraves, eldest daughter of my above s'd daughter Anne to whom I bequeath my wearing apparel together with all my household stuff &c Lastly I give to Mary Wheldale daughter of my son John Wheldale a little ring. Which s'd son Jn. Wheldale I nominate constitute and appoint my sole executor of this my last will and testament whatever other money or goods I am possessed of bidding and desiring him my said executor to disburse the sum of three pounds three shillings equally divided amongst my two above s'd daughters Anne and Elizabeth and Anne wife of my s'd executor, and that to be disposed of in mourning at pleasure. And I do here by ratify and confirm this to be my last will and testament In witness thereof I have here unto set my hand and seal the day and year above said
