He was commonly known as Bill.1
Bill was a Warrant Officer in the Royal Air Force. This was the highest non-commissioned rank, and was above flight seargent.3 He was included on a passenger manifest for the "Empress of France" dated 1 June 1960 arriving at Liverpool, Lancashire, England. They sailed from Montreal, Quebec. He intended a three week visit. We have the 16mm film he shot during this or a similar voyage.4

She was born in July 1885 at Ohio, USA.4,5 Alternatively, she may have been born on 12 July 1886 at Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, USA. Note that her birth date was typed as July 12, 1876 but her age was given as 47. The year should probably have been 1886, but was transcibed incorrectly from the original written passenger list.6; or, circa 1888 at Ohio, USA.1 Charlotte married Charles Andrew Langdale.7,4,8,9,10

The household included his mother-in-law, Fannie E. Miller.2 Charlotte H. Langdale and Charles Andrew Langdale were included on a passenger manifest travelling from Le Havre, France having departed 5 Aug, 1933 on the "Ausonia" arriving dated 13 August 1933 Port of Québec, Québec, Canada. They then returned to the USA throufh the port of St. Albans, Vermont. Their niece, Edith L Stallings was on the same ship.13
In the obituary of Fannie E. Miller who died 7 February 1940, her daughter, Charlotte H. Miller was listed as a survivor.14
