The cause of his death was given as myocardial failure (1 year) due to arteriosclerotic heart disease (5 years) and generalized arterioslcorosis.3

Note that their daughter, Lorena, was not enumerated in this household.7 Hugo Federle was the informant on the death registration of his wife, Grace Federle, who died on 7 February 1905.16
     Hugo W. and Curtie Federle appeared on the 1910 U.S. Federal Census of Lawrenceburg, Lawrenceburg Twp., Dearborn County, Indiana, enumerated 16 April 1910, described as a laborer in a saw factory. His children: Pearl L., were listed as living with them. His mother-in-law, Carrie Bryant was included in the household. She had been married for 36 years, borne 6 children with 4 still living. They rented their house.6
     Hugo and Curtie Federle appeared on the 1920 U.S. Federal Census of Lawrenceburg, Lawrenceburg Twp., Dearborn County, Indiana, enumerated 12 January 1920, described as having no stated occupation. His children: Lorena, were listed as living with them. His mother-in-law, an unknown person , continued to live within this household. They still rented their home. Note that his age was recorded as "UN" for some reason, rather than 42.17 Hugo William Federle was listed as a survivor in the obituary of Frank Federle who died 14 January 1925.18,4
     In the obituary of Caroline Federle who died 8 March 1930, her son, Hugo Federle was listed as a survivor.19 He, of Lawrenceburg, IN, was the informant on the death registration of his mother, Caroline Federle, who died on 10 March 1930.20
