On Find A Grave's memorial page for William Allen Alford, it notes that a child (Geri?) was born Feb 22, 1896. This is actually William's birth date, so the child could not have been born on that date.³
Why is Geri Alford not mentioned in the obituaries of William Allen Alford and Lela Elizabeth Howard? Is he the unnamed grandson referenced in both?⁴
