Jessie McLaren died on 4 February 1920 at at Lot 2, Conc 5, Horton Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 54 according to Ontario Death Registration 032761.1,4 The cause of her death was given as albuminuria and valvular disease of heart which she experienced for 9 years, and death occurred after a few days of heart failure.
Note that albuminuria indicates the presence of albumin in the urine, typically as a symptom of kidney disease.1 The informant on her death registration was her husband, M. D. McLaren.1
