Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Stark Passes Away Thursday

Shirley Louise, the one-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Stark, who live ten miles southwest of LaPlata in Milam Chapel community, passed away Thursday evening, January 27 at 6:40 o'clock, at their home. She had suffered only about three days with what physicians pronounced spasmodic croup.

Shirley Louise was born June 25, 1936 making her age one year, 7 months and two days.

She is survived by her parents and two sisters, Nedra Carol, 6 and Phyllis Yvonne, 3; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Stark of the same community and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Danner of Atlanta; five aunts, Mrs. R. N. Evans and Miss Lillian Stark of Chicago, Mrs. Clarence Riley, Mrs. Earl Prather and Miss Anna Mae Danner of Atlanta and Alphus Danner of Del Norte, Colo., and eight cousins.

The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church, here, and burial in the LaPlata Cemetery.1
