Pioneer of the Asquith district where ha was prominent in community activities, Charles Lily Mather, 78, and resident of Antler for the last five years, died in a Saskatoon hospital Monday, Born in Ontario, he moved to Asquith in 1906, where he became a life member and past master of the Masonic lodge and a member of the I.O.O.F For many years he was on the Asquith council. He leaves a widow, two daughters, Mrs. A. R. Wilson and Mrs. C. F. Forrester, and three sons, Dr. J. Hartley, Dr. Cecil K and Russell. The funeral will be from the chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Nelson Chappel and the Asquith Masonic Lodge officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.4
